Local Connections Fund Round 2

Just before the summer break, we were absolutely thrilled to be awarded a second round of support for our creative arts and wellbeing-focussed workshops and events from The National lottery Fund’s ‘Local Connections Fund - Round 2’. This grant is awarded to organisations that strive to support individuals and communities with tackling growing feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Thanks to this second round of support, we can continue our community music-making and dance workshops at the wonderful Stonebridge City Farm in the heart of Nottingham, and also in the areas of Clifton, Hyson Green, The Meadows and Sneinton.

For the first time, we are collaborating with Rainbow Stripes, a well-loved children’s musical workshop duo, that provides music-making sessions for young children in the city. All workshops are intergenerational and are inclusive of everyone.

Please visit Stonebridge City Farm’s Facebook page for further details on Rainbow Stripes workshops for young children. Click just here to visit the page: Stonebridge City Farm Facebook page link.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to The National Lottery Fund for valuing our work in the community, and also to the families that visit our weekly workshops and events.
