Earth-Eco-Art & our schools Outreach Creative Programme…
As part of our creative communities programme for this year’s festival events, we have formed an outstanding team to plan and deliver a series of fun, engaging and educational workshops for children of all ages in schools to explore themes within climate change and environment awareness. Workshops include music-making, dance and arts and crafts.
Our Earth-Eco-Art practitioner, Annette Waterfield, is busy helping young learners to explore making Indian-inspired rangoli patterns with recycled materials. Children are then invited to view their colourful creations through a giant kaleidoscope. As their art work spins and shines at the other end of the kaleidoscope, children have the opportunity to record the effects of this through their classroom iPads.
